HOW IT STARTED
My mother always told me, if you’re not crazy about it, don’t buy it. When I go shopping for clothes and other things, this has been my mantra. “If you’re not crazy about it, don’t buy it.”
Although I have built up a good collection of clothes, shoes and other things one department has been left for granted, my bedroom. The heart of every bedroom is the bed. And I have spent quite a deal buying a good quality bed.
But a bed no matter how pretty or pricey is just a BED without pretty sheets.
Shopping for bed linens can be a frustrating ordeal. As soon as I bought my dream bed, I looked around for bedsheets and was left with two choices. Buy this polka dotted one and keep my room lights dim so I can stick to my budget or buy those with a more urbane design but go completely bankrupt. Price tags on beddings can be crazy, especially on those designer ones. $250 on just a duvet cover anyone? And the pillowcases? I came home that day with a mission.
To this day, I’ve not shopped for Bed Linens. I make them.
And now, I’m sharing them with you.
